Well I learned how to write a blog, duh(Olav, you asked for that one). I guess I've also learned to write a little texts a little better, though this was more like an article than a story. But I didn't think much about the story in book after I red it, mostly because I red in the book right before I went to bed. Has it made me a more observant reader? No, it hasn't. I just red it for entertainment, and because it was a task to read it.
The other blogs I've red interesting to read, and it was a nice spread of genres.
I finished the book last week and it was a very good book, and it was well written(at least I thought it was even though I didn't read it observantly) and it was cool that we could ''hear'' the thoughts of Dr. Watson.
I've sadly received very few comments from my classmates...
It would be fun to do another task like this, because I'm feeling that my English have improved a bit and the blogging was actually not as boring as I thought it would be.
''If our brain was so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we couldn't''
That had nothing with the task, but it is one of my favorite quotes. I can't remember who said it though.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
The author of ''The Hound of the Baskervilles'' is sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He was an author and a physician. He's most known for the stories of detective Sherlock Holmes. He got the inspiration to make the Sherlock Homes character from his university teacher, Joseph Bell. In the start he only wrote short stories with Holmes, but it got very popular even as far away as in Samoa.
In 1890 he wanted to ''kill'' Sherlock Holmes for good, but when he did, there was an outcry among the fans. After some years he made another book with him which was the book I'm reading. He also kept on making more short stories.
I've really enjoyed reading the Hound of the Baskervilles, so maybe I'll read some more books from that series. I especially want to read a story were dr. Moriarty is in (He's Sherlock Holmes ''arch enemy'').
I would recommend to read his books as he also wrote science fiction and some other genres too.

Book genre etc.
The book is a criminal novel and takes place in the early (19)00's on Dartmoor in Devon which is in the west country of England. Most of the storyline takes place in the surroundings of the Baskerville Hall. The language is a little formal, but not too much.
Dartmoor, Devon.

I'm gonna write a book report
I've chosen to write a book report because I really don't like writing an analysis, and I've actually never written a book report before.

I've started reading
So far I've red 3 chapters and I must say, I look forward to read the rest of the book.
Here's a little summary of the story so far:
The story starts in Holmes' house. They've found a stick of some sort in the woods and, with the help of Sherlocks Holmes brilliant mind, find out who the stick belongs to.
Then they get a visit from a doctor who tells them about a story about the Hound of the Baskervilles, which is about a large hound-like creature who'd supposedly killed one of the Baskervilles and is rumored to have killed many of the members of the Baskervilles. All of the victims lived in Baskerville Hall.
The doctor brings up articles from the local newspapers about the latest victim. Three people who lives nearby said that they saw a large houndlike creature right before the member of the Baskervilles died.
Now there's only one member left of the Baskervilles and the doctor wonders what they should do with him as he arrives with the train in less than an hour.

The book I chose :3
I've chosen the book called Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles. It's the most famous of the Sherlock Holmes books written by the famous author sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The story is about a murderer who is targeting people. More information about the book will be written here when I get my hands on it...
